Circular Operations
MATERIAL INTEGRITY.
CIRCULAR BY DESIGN.
In commercial foodservice, healthcare, and air travel, disposable tableware delivers non-negotiable food safety and contamination control. At Arcplast, we approach sustainability without superficial claims: by utilizing 100% monomaterial polymers, operating closed-loop in-house scrap recycling, and manufacturing certified heavy-gauge reusable alternatives.
Pure Monomaterial Architecture
Composite materials (such as paper bonded to PE films or multi-resin layers) often cannot be mechanically recycled in municipal streams. We strictly utilize pure, virgin-grade Polypropylene and Polystyrene. Because our products contain no unseparable linings, they fit seamlessly into automated sorting and mechanical re-granulation streams worldwide.
Zero-Waste In-House Scrap Recovery
Thermoforming produces skeletal trim offcuts during the punching phase. At our Istanbul facility, inline granulators capture 100% of these clean, post-industrial edge-trims immediately. The regrind is re-extruded directly back into sheet production, ensuring zero production scrap enters local waste or landfill streams.
Water Conservation & Freight Efficiency
In high-turnaround catering and transit hospitality, single-use solutions eliminate continuous commercial washing cycles that consume millions of liters of heated potable water and chemical sanitizers. Additionally, the ultra-low weight of thermoformed tableware drastically reduces container shipping fuel emissions compared to heavier alternatives.
Certified Reusable Alternative Lines
To assist international distributors navigating evolving European packaging directives (PPWR and Single-Use Plastics restrictions), our catalog includes heavy-gauge Reusable tableware. Formed from robust, break-resistant Polypropylene, these products are certified for over 100 industrial dishwashing cycles without structural loss.
